RED — The Overflow Devo (Day 2 of 7)

GLASS HOUSE

There is a constant battle between who we are inside and what we show people on the outside. Sometimes we feel like a broken mess. The "Glass House" is a reminder that God can see into the deepest parts of our souls. He can see our pain and distress that we have caused on ourselves from trying to put on a face and hide our sin. Only when we surrender to the will of God and what is right in our lives can He make us whole again and put back the pieces. So let's stop hiding and let our true face shine in the light and love of what God's will is for us.

Lamentations 1:20-22 —Behold, O Lord; for I am in distress: my bowels are troubled; mine heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled: abroad the sword bereaveth, at home there is as death.
They have heard that I sigh: there is none to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that thou hast done it: thou wilt bring the day that thou hast called, and they shall be like unto me.
Let all their wickedness come before thee; and do unto them, as thou hast done unto me for all my transgressions: for my sighs are many, and my heart is faint.
