Humility is a fundamental part of the Christian faith. And your humility grows through encountering God and meditating on His Word. The following verses, when memorized, can help you to humble yourself in all of your days.
Proverbs 27:1-2 "Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips."
Matthew 6:1 "Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven."
