Not Slander

To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. (KJV) (Titus 3:2)

When mistreated, do you speak badly about that person to others? How you portray that person gives great insight into your integrity. If you are willing to humble yourself to protect that person's image, that shows humility! This is truly a mark of integrity. After all, isn't it a reflection of ourselves in how we characterize others when walking in conflict? The next time a friend wrongs you, choose your words carefully when you speak about them.

Their Ways

Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. (KJV) (Proverbs 3:31)

Have you ever had someone blow up at you for small reasons? Be cautious not to model after this behavior. Believe it or not, over time violence and short tempers begin to seep into our ways. We then carry forward this type of behavior even when we know it is unacceptable. Try to limit the influence of violence in your life.

New Strength

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (KJV) (Isaiah 40:31)

Come one, come all, everyone who is tired. If you are exhausted and feel heavy like you've been hit by a truck, there is hope. You will once again soar. It is time to look to the Lord and trust Him to rejuvenate you. Give rest to your body and He will give you the endurance you need to continue.

Small Successes

His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. (KJV) (Matthew 25:21)

We hear about many instant huge success stories, but don't be fooled. Almost always, they start out from one small success. The beauty of small is that it gives you the encouragement and one additional bit of experience to create the next small success. These successes build on top of one another and over time, gives you an advantage and skill set to do great things. Take the "small" that God has trusted you with and make it a success. Is there a big goal that you desire to tackle but just can't seem to start? Trust in God and take the first small step with a giant leap of faith.

Not Neglect

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (KJV) (Hebrews 10:25)

It's easy to get carried away with busy schedules and slip away from going to church.  After all, there are only two days in the weekend.  But don't let yourself forget the importance of church.  Where will you go and who will you turn to in hard times?  If you are already established in the church routine, you will find lots of support.
